The Clark College nursing department will launch its 50th anniversary celebration by hosting an open house featuring demonstrations of the latest in training technology. The public is invited to attend the free event on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the nursing skills lab, located on the second floor of Clark College at WSU Vancouver, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. in Salmon Creek. Complimentary parking will be available in green parking lots 1 and 2 and orange parking lot 2. Guests will learn how the college has incorporated advanced simulation technology into the curriculum. Clark?s nursing department is home to ?SimMan,? ?SimWoman? and ?SimBaby.? The theme of the open house is a ?Sim Family? baby shower. Clark College is home to one of the largest associate degree nursing programs in Washington.
